Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravity hinge with a built-in hydraulic damper, which dramatically suppresses an impact noise when a door is closed by self-weight.SOLUTION: A small-sized linear stroke type hydraulic damper 5 is vertically mounted on an upper location within a cylinder part 31 in an upper part 3 of a hinge. Immediately before a door 200 is completely lowered while being rotated by self-weight in a closing direction, a tip 5a of the hydraulic damper 5 abuts on a tip of a shaft 4 to make the tip 5a recede. Thus, the gravity hinge with the damper can reduce a speed until the completion of closing of the door 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
