To provide a gravure coating device hardly advancing hardening of a coating liquid including a hardening resin in a coating liquid pan.
A gravure coating device comprises: a gravure roll 20 for coating a coating liquid S on a base film F; a doctor blade 21 for adjusting a coating amount of the coating liquid S; and a coating liquid pan 10 for storing the coating liquid S under the gravure roll 20. In gravure coating, while the coating liquid S is always supplied to the coating liquid pan 10 from a coating liquid tank 40 via a supply tube 42, a surplus coating liquid S is circularly supplied by returning a flow to the coating liquid tank 40 from the coating liquid pan 10 via a flow returning tube 43. The coating liquid pan 10 comprises a first tank 10a connected with the supply tube 42 and immersing the gravure roll 20 and a second tank 10b connected with the flow returning tube 43, and is formed in an overflow structure that the surplus coating liquid S overflowed from the first tank 10a is returned to the coating liquid tank 40 after being stored in the second tank 10b.
