Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a new gravure printing method allowing production of a film having a pattern in which an aluminum-metallization layer is made partly transparent, in a process of applying gravure printing to an aluminum-metallized film to obtain a finished film; and a gravure printing apparatus to implement the method.SOLUTION: In a gravure printing method, water-soluble ink that reacts with and eliminates an aluminum-metallization layer is used to apply gravure printing to an aluminum-metallized film that is being transported; after the reaction of the water-soluble ink with the aluminum-metallization layer is completed, the water-soluble ink is removed by cleaning from the aluminum-metallized film to form the aluminum-metallized film partly having a transparent pattern without the aluminum-metallization layer. Also provided is a gravure printing apparatus to implement the method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
