Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the reproducing performance of color and the gray balance adjustment function by using a conversion table so as to apply conversion processing of equivalent neutral density. CONSTITUTION:An image processing system 2 applies color correction replacement from a color separation signal of an optical system obtained through the read of an original in an image input terminal 1 to a recording signal of a coloring material, outputs the result to an image output terminal 3 to form a color picture in a picture forming device, which applies conversion processing of equivalent neutral density by using a conversion table 5. That is, gray balance is applied by using a color separation signal of the optical system and the processing such as color correction conversion or the like is applied at the post-stage. The gray balance state is maintained efficiently, the gray balance method is easily applied even in a color masking section 6 and the conversion processing of the equivalent neutral density is applied with high accuracy even in a color tone correction control section 7.
