This gray code counter is provided with a gray code counter 2 in the configuration of 5 bits for counting codes one by one and an output value converter 3 for skipping gray code data (Q0p to Q4p) outputted from the gray code counter 2 for a value subtracting '1' from the power of '2' and converting the result to gray codes (Q0 to Q4) corresponding to decimal counting corresponding to such counting so that the number of bit transitions in skip counting can become two at all the time.
