Abstract:
To provide a grease composition having a suitable viscosity over a wide temperature range, having excellent lubricating properties and wear resistance, having a high cable load efficiency, and having a low no-load resistance.
The grease composition includes a silicone oil, a polyurethane powder, and a thickener. When used in an automobile control cable composed of a guide member being a guide pipe lined with polytetrafluoroethylene and an inner cable (wire rope), the grease composition is highly useful as a grease composition capable of sufficiently reducing the friction and wear between the liner and the inner cable.
