To provide a grease contained rolling bearing which effectively suppresses early separation on a bearing rolling surface caused by hydrogen brittleness even when used at high temperatures over 120C.
The rolling bearing is provided with an inner ring 2, an outer ring 3, and a plurality of rolling elements 4 interposed between rolling surfaces 2a and 3a of the inner and outer rings, and formed by containing grease 7 around the rolling elements. In the rolling bearing, the nitrogen-enriched layer of which the grain size number of austenite crystalline grains exceeds 10 is formed on a surface layer part of at least one of bearing members selected from the inner ring 2, the outer ring 3 and the rolling elements 4; a residual austenite amount on the surface layer part is not larger than 15 wt.% by applying an annealing process at 200-300C; the grease is prepared by mixing an addition agent in base grease comprising base oil and a puffing agent; and the addition agent is prepared by mixing 0.05-10 pts.wt. of at least one aluminum-based addition agent selected from aluminum powder and an aluminum compound in 100 pts.wt. of the base grease.
