Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a grille adapter which allows a grille to be attached on a mounting frame even when the grille and the mounting frame are positioned with a little slippage.
CONSTITUTION: A grille adapter 1 consists of a mounting frame 2 that is fitted in an opening 4 on a wall 3 and has a fixing socket 9 and a grille 5 that is attached on the frame 2 and has a fixing post 10 that is inserted in the fixing socket 9. The mounting frame 2 has an adjusting device 14 by which the position of the fixing socket 9 is changed, so that the position of the fixing socket 9 is changed to attach the grille 5 on the mounting frame 2 even when the mounting frame 2 and the grille 5 are positioned with a slippage.
