Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinder capable of preventing a temperature rise in a processing site.SOLUTION: During a pass operation, temperature determination means 72 determines whether or not the measured temperature of a thermo-couple 50 exceeds an upper limit set temperature. Pass action speed setting means 74 (forming a part of parameter setting means) decreases the travel speed of a screw-shaped abrasive in a pass operation, if said measured temperature exceeds an upper limit set temperature. If not excess, the travel speed is set to an initial set velocity. Pass operation execution command means 76 (forming a part of the cutting operation command means) controls a Z-axis motor 26 in accordance with a pass action velocity set, thereby to control the travel speed of the screw-shaped abrasive in the pass action.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
