Abstract:
To manufacture a low-noise, high-density and high-grade magnetic record medium stably and at high rate of operation by stabilizing the grinding force of a grinding wheel.
In a grinding process of continuously grinding a magnetic layer of a transported magnetic tape web 20 with a diamond wheel 82, the grinding wheel 83 of the diamond wheel 82 is cleaned by a pressure sensitive adhesive roller 84 attached to the diamond wheel 82.
