Abstract:

The machine has a grinding spindle (11) provided with a grinding wheel (12) for grinding a wave-shaped workpiece (4). A headstock (2), a tailstock (5) and the grinding spindle are movably arranged for controlling relative movement between the wheel and the workpiece. The tailstock and a trimming spindle (16) are commonly arranged on a swivel table (14). The tailstock and the trimming spindle are alternatively movable to positions for supporting the workpiece and for trimming the wheel, respectively by rotating the table around a pivotal axis (15).
