Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a grinding method of polyethylene or crosslinked polyethylene in which the polyethylene or the crosslinked polyethylene is grinded coarsely, filtered and classified continuously to obtain uniform fine powder and high productivity is attained.
CONSTITUTION: The crosslinked polyethylene XLPE is grinded coarsely by a coarse-grinder 1, then, fed continuously to a twin extruder 5, and also a crosslinking agent is incorporated to the twin extruder 5, and the mixture is heated and kneaded and pulverized, then classified by a screen classifier.
