Abstract:
PURPOSE: To achieve grinding operations at the position apart from a face plate and which a tubular member being supported by a chuck claw in a secure manner when the end part of the tubular member of an elbow or the like is supported by the chuck pawl fitted to the face plate and ground.
CONSTITUTION: A chuck pawl 13 is fitted to a face plate 10 connected to a rotary driving shaft 11. A distance between a tip supporting part 16 and the face plate 10 is secured by a long body part 15 of the chuck pawl 13. A groove wall 1a of the circumferential groove 1 swollen inward of the tubular member (E) is inserted into a groove part 17 of a tip supporting part 16 where the end part provided with a circumferential groove 1 of a tubular member (E) is outside fitted, and the end part of the tubular member (E) is coaxially supported with a rotational axis of the face plate 10 by the tip supporting part 16. A grinding material such as sand paper is tightly pressed against the end part including the circumferential groove 1 of the tubular member (E).
