CONSTITUTION: A dressing grinding stone 4 roughly identical in size to a work 2 is attached to the upper surface of the work 2 (work) rested on a machine tool table 1 via a vinyl chrolide plate 3 with acrylic adhesives. Under this condition, a groove is cut in the work 2 using a groove cutting grinding wheel 5, let dressing for the groove cutting grinding wheel 5 be carried out by the dressing grinding stone 4 simultaneously when groove cutting is made. By this constitution, even if groove cutting is made at any place, the groove cutting grinding wheel 5 can be dressed, and it is thereby guaranteed that groove cutting can thereby be made with stable accuracy for a long time.
