Abstract:
To connect a honing stone to a grinding stone base without any adhesive in a honing tool with a retreating mechanism for grinding stone and shorten the time for tool adjustment by the replacement of the grinding stone.
In the structure of a slider 25 protruding and retreating from a slit 3 provided in the cylinder of a tool body 2, a grinding stone base 26 containing a magnet 28 is combined with a grinding stone 3 having a magnet body 31 and magnetic body 33 fixed thereto to connect the both by magnetic force. Accordingly, when the grinding stone is worn, only the grinding stone can be removed from the connection part with the grinding stone base, and the necessity of disassembling the whole tool can be solved.
