To provide a grinding tool which facilitates cleaning and grinding of complicated portions of a grinding object, such as a bumpy surface, an intricate area, and a narrow portion.

The grinding tool is formed of: a handle; a grinding layer material consisting of grinding sheet materials arranged at least at a location on one front surface thereof, and a plurality of auxiliary sheet materials; and an attachment/detachment fixing mechanism which attachably/detachably fixes the grinding layer material to one end of the handle while an open end thereof is exposed to the outside. The grinding layer material has imparted thereto flexibility that can stand cleaning and grinding of the complicated portions of the grinding object, such as the bumpy surface, the intricate area, and the narrow portion. Then the auxiliary sheet materials each have a size and a shape that at least do not hinder the polishing work of a tip portion of the grinding sheet material. Further the auxiliary sheet material is made of a sheet material having abrasive property, and the attachment/detachment fixing mechanism is provided with a length adjusting means for adjusting the exposed length of the grinding layer material.
