The γ-region of the outer circumference of the transparent protection layer 4 of the grip part 1b of the rod pipe 1 is provided with a grip part 9 composed of a rough coating layer 7 formed by applying a coating material produced by adding a slightly excess amount of a curing material to a resin paint composed of an epoxy resin or urethane containing pigment particles 8 having a size slightly larger than the particles of the α-region.
