PURPOSE: To provide a grip which is easy to get to fit a hand easily, is deformed easily when being gripped, an can keep the condition of its deformation even at the time of impact by providing inner space in the grip main body of a golf club, and filling housing putty into the inner space.

CONSTITUTION: In a golf club where a head is attached to the tip of a shaft 1 and a grip 3 is fixed to the base of the shaft 1, the grip 3 is made of elastic member, for example, hard rubber material made of natural rubber or synthetic resin, and the surface is made in various shape such as that a hand is hard to slip. Moreover, the grip 3 is made in taper shape where the bore becomes larger toward the grip end, and is made so that the thickness may be larger toward the grip end. And, the inner part of the thick part is made hollow, and matter whose rigidity changes according to the stress, for example, silicon housing putty or sponge impregnated with it is filled into this hollow space.
