Abstract:

PURPOSE: To adjust swing balance without damaging the characteristic performance of a club by molding a balance weight of metal, synthetic resin, etc., attaching the balance weight to the uppermost end hole of a golf grip and preventing the balance weight from coming off by thickening somewhat the upper portion of a part thereof received in the grip.

CONSTITUTION: Balance weights 1, 2 are mounted to a grip part without come- off even in use by forcing the thick part of a shaft 4 into a grip 3 until it is received in the grip 3. When a player grips the club to which the balance weights 1, 2, are attached he can get a feeling lighter than that of conventional clubs. Further, he can feel the smooth stream-like touch from the start to the end of swing, and the club very easy to grip for powerless men, women, aged persons, etc., is provided. Also, metal, synthetic resin, rubber, wood, porcelain, clay, etc., can be utilized for molding materials to have effects respectively corresponding to the weight.
