To provide a grip structure of a parking brake device capable of enhancing the assembly work efficiency by allowing the engagement state of a grip skin member with an operation lever body to be easily checked.
In the parking brake device comprising an operation lever body 2 for operating a braking mechanism unit by the turning operation, a locking mechanism 30 for locking the turn of the operation lever body 2, and a release rod 7 which is held in the operation lever body 2 in an advancing/retracting manner, a grip skin member 10 is fitted to the outer side of the operation lever body 2. The grip skin member 10 comprises a skin member body 20 and a collar 12. A projection part 17 formed on the collar 12 is engaged with a locking hole 6 at a fore end of the operation lever body 2. The engagement state of the projection part 17 with the locking hole 6 can be visually checked from an opening part 11 in the grip skin member 10.
