Title:
GRIPPING DEVICE FOR PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3466905
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripping device for a printer for effectively cleaning an outer periphery of an impression cylinder by an impression cylinder cleaning unit with a simple constitution.
SOLUTION: A pedestal 153 of the gripping device 83 has a holding part 151 formed so as to be substantially in plane with a surface of an impression cylinder 15, and a retreating recess part 152 formed as an oblique surface adjacent to the part 151. A gripping pawl 154 of the device 83 has a pawl 155 for sandwiching an end of a printing sheet between the part 151 of the pedestal 13 and the part 151 in contact via the sheet. A shaft 156 of the pawl 154 is attached to a position eccentrically deviated from its shaft core to a driven gear 163. Accordingly, if the gear 163 is rotated, the shaft 156 at the pawl 154 is moved at the shaft core of the gear 163 as a center. Thus, the overall pawl 154 is retracted toward an interior of the cylinder 15 from the vicinity of the surface of the cylinder 15.
