PURPOSE: To move a lengthy article to a specified position without breaking an alignment by way of receiving the aligned lengthy article even if dimension of the lengthy article is irregular or the lengthy article is not steady and regardless of a magnetic body or a non-magnetic body.
CONSTITUTION: A large number of intrusive grooves 1a are arranged in parallel with specified pitches in the longitudinal direction of a fixed sinking comb 1 to receive a large number of lengthy articles 2 from above and to clamp the received lengthy articles 2 with required power. Oscillating claws 3 respectively and properly corresponding to a large number of the intrusive grooves 1a are pivotally supported free to oscillate at their central parts. A drive shaft 5 is arranged below the intrusive grooves 1a free to reciprocally move for a specified distance by a cylinder device in the longitudinal direction of the fixed sinking comb 1. Upper end parts of the oscillating claws 3 are overlapped on the intrusive grooves 1a by integrally moving lower end parts of the oscillating claws 3 through a coil spring 8 by reciprocal movement of the drive shaft 5. At the time of clamping a large number of the lengthy articles 2 with the upper end parts of the oscillating claws 3 and the fixed sinking comb 1 by oscillation of the oscillating claws 3, a dimensional error of the lengthy articles is absorbed by the coil spring 8.
