Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet of a vehicular steering device capable of suppressing twist of a seal portion at the time of assembly to a dash panel.SOLUTION: A grommet of a vehicular steering device includes: a cylindrical portion 12 to which a steering shaft 3 is inserted; a cylindrical elastic base portion 17 provided on one end of the cylindrical portion in a flexible and deformable manner; an annular contact portion 18 provided on the elastic base portion so as to be capable of pressure-welded to a dash panel 4; a cylindrical flexible portion 21 which extends to a dash panel direction from an outer peripheral surface of the contact portion, has higher flexibility than that of the contact portion and has a tip portion 21b formed outside in a radial direction in a flexible and deformable manner; and a plurality of projections 22 which are provided on the tip portion of the flexible portion, and are arranged in a state of separated in a circumferential direction of the flexible potion at a position on the dash panel side rather than a tip portion 19a of a seal bead 19 that the contact portion has.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
