Abstract:

To provide a grommet 1 capable of reducing fit-in force and being prevented from easily coming off to extracting force.

A grommet 1 is integrally configured by: a first insertion cylinder portion 10 permitting the insertion of a wire harness 4 inserted in an opening portion 3 of a panel material 2 and holding the wire harness 4; a locking portion 20 for locking to one surface of the panel material 2; a flange portion 30 abutting on the other surface of the panel material 2; and an opening fitting portion 40 fitted with the opening portion 3. The locking portion 20 is integrally configured by an abutting portion 23 extended from the opening fitting portion 40, a bending portion 22 extended from the abutting portion 23 in a fit-in direction F and toward the first insertion cylinder portion 10, and a taper portion 21 formed in a generally tapered shape with a hollow inside tapered off in the fit-in direction F and connected to the first insertion cylinder portion 10. The bending portion 22 is equipped with a thin wall portion 22b having wall thickness on a cross section in a longitudinal direction X thinner than the taper portion 21 and the abutting portion 23.
