Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce tensile load applied to a wire harness by fixing the wire harness inserted through a grommet.SOLUTION: A grommet comprises a wire harness insertion cylinder part and a large-diameter cylinder part for car body lock continued to an end portion of the wire harness insertion cylinder part. A thick portion is provided continuously in a circumferential direction from an inner peripheral surface of the wire harness insertion cylinder part, and a tension piece for thick portion diameter enlargement is provided while protruding in an outer radial direction, respectively from at least two locations on an outer peripheral surface opposing the thick portion. The wire harness is inserted through a hollow part of the thick portion of which the diameter is enlarged by tensing the tension piece in the outer radial direction. After the insertion, the wire harness is fastened and fixed in the thick portion of which the diameter is reduced by canceling the tension of the tension piece.
