Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet designed such that holding force for the inner member of a grommet body can securely be enhanced and, moreover, workability in fitting these two components is excellent.SOLUTION: A grommet comprises an inner member 12 made of resin and an elastic grommet body 14. The grommet body 14 comprises: a seal lip part 45 that is able to be engaged with a vehicle body panel 1 on the side nearer to the locking part 22 than to the external flange part 23 of the inner member 12; and an annular plate part 46 supporting this seal lip part 45 and disposed adjacent to the one face 23a of the external flange part 23 on the locking part 22 side. The one face 23a that is at least a circumferential part of the external flange part 23 and on the locking part 22 side disposed in close contact with the annular plate part 46 of the grommet body 14 is a tapering face inclining such that the one face 23a is disposed near the locking part 22 in an axial direction toward the outer periphery.
