Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet in a novel structure capable of increasing a strength for fitting a large diameter cylinder part of the grommet to an edge of a through-hole in an engaging recess.SOLUTION: A large diameter cylinder part 20 of a grommet 10 includes an annular protrusion 24 and a flange 26, and the annular protrusion 24 includes a first tapered portion 28 and a second tapered portion 30. In the flange 26, a recess 32 is formed which is opened on a surface closer to the annular protrusion 24. An engaging recess 18 which is opened on an outer peripheral face of the large diameter cylinder part 20 is formed from the recess 32 and the second tapered portion 30. At an inner edge of the engaging recess 18, a step surface 36 extending from a small diameter side end of the second tapered portion 30 to the radial inside of the large diameter cylinder part 20 and a longitudinal wall 38 extending from a radially inside end of the step surface 36 to the axial inside of the large diameter cylinder part 20 are provided.
