To provide a ditch cover which facilitates uplift thereof even if soil is filled on the periphery thereof, and allows a side ditch to be opened.
The ditch cover 3 is detachably fitted into L-shaped steps 2, 2 which are formed on both upper sides of the side ditch 1, for bearing the cover. The ditch cover is formed of a thick quadrangular plate body, and one end face 31 in a longitudinal direction along the side ditch 1 is formed into an inclined surface inclined at an acute angle with respect to the horizontal plane of the steps 2, 2 while the other end face 32 in the longitudinal direction has a half-arched cross sectional shape that is obtained by cutting the other end face along a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. Further both side surfaces 33, 33 in the longitudinal direction along the side ditch 1 are each formed into an inclined surface inclined at an acute angle with respect to the horizontal plane of the steps 2, 2, and a gap between each of the side surfaces 33, 33 and each of the steps 2, 2 is formed into an upward tapered shape.
