Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the rolling of a vehicle body by providing a means which operates a compensating value for a rolling angle thereby operating the deviation from a target rolling angle for effecting the control with a drive duty corresponding to this deviation when the absolute value of the deviation exceeds a specified value. CONSTITUTION:Signals detected by a vehicle speed sensor 95 and a steering angle sensor 96 are inputted into an electronic control device 102 for operating a steady-state rolling angle of a vehicle body based on a vehicle speed and a steering angle. Subsequently, a compensating value for a rolling angle by advancing the phase of a signal indicating the steady-state rolling angle for operating the deviation between a target rolling angle and the compenating value. And if the absolute value of the deviation exceeds a specified value, flow control valves 18, 32, 19, 33, 28, 39, 29 and 40 to actuators are controlled with a drive duty corresponding to this deviation. This constitution performs the rolling control without any delay in response so as to prevent the rolling of the vehicle body from taking place positively even when the vehicle is abruptly steered.
