Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent lateral slip of a tyre and the occurrence of rim touch, by a method wherein, from a car speed and a steering angle, and a constant roll angle, a target roll angle, a roll angle compensation value are determined, and when a deviatio between the roll angles exceeds a given value, a ground clearance is regulated according to the deviation. CONSTITUTION:When ground clearances 87-90, a car speed 95, a steering angle 96, a throttle opening 97, and a brake signal 9a are inputted to a microcomputer 103, from the car speed 95 and the steering angle 96, a constant roll angle and a conpensation value are determined to compute a target roll angle. When the target value of the roll angle is not 0, a signal is outputted to alarm devices 125 and 127 for alarming. When a deviation between the target roll angle and a consntant roll angle + a momentary value of a roll angle exceeds a given value, based on the deviation, the drive duty of each of flow rate control valves 18-40 is determined to execute regulation of a ground clearance. This constitution prevents a laterial slip of a tyre and the occurrence of rim touch.
