PURPOSE: To prevent crack due to freezing of water by making a hole for inserting a fixing means at an insulating part where a conductor forming a ground coil is molded into a predetermined shape and providing a buffer layer of predetermine thickness on the inner side face of the hole.
CONSTITUTION: Thrust coils 1a, 1b being installed on the side wall of the track for vehicle are formed of conductors 3 and molded of resin into a predetermined shape. A plurality of holes 2 are made at the insulating part of the mold and inserted with stud bolts for securing the thrust coils 1a, 1b to the side wall. Silicone sealant 4 is then applied, by a predetermined depth, onto the inner side face of the hole 2 thus forming a buffer layer. Consequently, mold insulating part is easily protected against crack due to freezing of water. This method is also applicable to a levitation/guiding coil on the ground side.
