To provide a ground current damage preventer which prevents damage occurrence such as the fault, malfunction, etc. of the object of prevention such as an electric/electronic apparatus, etc. due to various ground currents.
An annular conductor 30, which surrounds the object 20 of protection, is arranged in or on the ground 10 where the object 20 of protection is disposed. The annular conductor 30 is a bare wire or the like, and it is arranged in an insulated state without being electrically connected with the object 20 of protection, in a place apart from the object 20 of protection. When a ground current i comes from the ground 10a around the annular conductor, the annular conductor 30 seizes it and does not allow it to flow to the ground wherein the object 20 of protection lies, whereby it protects the object 20 of protection from the ground current i.
