Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for forming an improved cylindrical underground structure, by which the cylindrical underground structure having a deformed cross section in medium size or large size can be formed safely and economically, and a ground digging-down device suitable for conducting the method for forming such a cylindrical underground structure.
SOLUTION: In the forming method for the cylindrical underground structure, a wall-surface protective cylindrical body 1, in which a ground excavator with jet nozzle 5a groups injecting a cavitation jet flow containing bubbles in water in the lower direction is combined at a lower end section, is disposed in upright onto a ground, a pressure-water supply pipe 4 to the ground excavator 2 is connected to a pressure water feeder through the internal space of the wall- surface protective cylindrical body 1, and the ground in the lower section of the wall-surface protective cylindrical body 1 is excavated by the cavitation jet flow injected from the ground excavator 2 and slurry containing gravel or the like is formed. Slurry is forwarded to the outside of the wall-surface protective cylindrical body 1 by a slurry discharging feeder 6, and the wall- surface protective cylindrical body 1 is settled into the ground.
