PURPOSE: To enable a simple, highly precise and highly reliable measuring of a ground durability, by measuring a load applied to the ground and subsidence of the ground corresponding to the load by means of a pressure gauge after applying the load to a loaded plate situated on the test ground through a reaction force receiving device by means of a loading device.
CONSTITUTION: Screw anchors 4 are inserted at a ground durability testing position of the ground 2, and reaction force receiving beams 6 and 7 are placed at an upper part of the screw anchors. Is then installed a loading device 11 being composed of a loaded plate 12, a hydraulic jack 13, a rod 14, and a proving ring 18. The loaded plate 12 is loaded by the hydraulic jack 13, and thus, the loaded plate 12 is subsided. A loading reaction force is received at a reaction force receiving device 1 after passing through a support 15, the proving ring 18, and a plate 20, and a loading amount is determined from displacement of a spindle 17 of a dial gauge 7 caused as a result of the proving ring 18 being bent. On the other hand, a subsidence amount of the ground is indicated by a subsiding amount measuring dial gauge 26, and the ground durability can be reliably measured from the load amount and the ground subsidence amount corresponding to the aforesaid loaded amount.
