To provide a ground evaluation system based on a Swedish sounding test (SWS test), which can deal with the ground as an objective value in a manner eliminating an influence on a determination irrespective of whether the ground is of sandy soil or cohesive soil.
The ground evaluation system is formed of a test value data file in which test numerical values corresponding to a plurality of depths collected by the SWS test, are stored, and an evaluation value data file in which evaluation values determined in proportion to stress functions corresponding to the respective depths of the test values are stored. Then the ground evaluation system is comprised of: an arithmetically operating means for multiplying the test values stored in the test value data file by the evaluation values, and correcting the test values such that the test value at a deeper location is more highly evaluated even if the original test values are the same; an arithmetically operating means for summing up all points of the corrected test values corresponding to the respective depths to obtain a total value; and an arithmetic operation display means for comparing the total value with past settlement data stored in the data file, and displaying a result of the comparison.
