Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground examining method and device capable of obtaining the accurate data of the ground.
SOLUTION: This ground examining device 1 is formed to continuously measure a rotary load and a tip depth when pressing a rod provided with excavating blades at a tip thereof into the ground with rotation, and the rotary load can be continuously and accurately measured. This ground examining method can accurately detect a thin soft layer to realize the excellent design of steel pipe piles and execution that boring is stopped at the upper part of a thick support layer under the soft layer.
