To provide a ground fabric for asphalt impregnation capable of readily digging asphalt surface in asphalt repairing construction and finely being crushed when recycled in a disposal station.

In the ground fabric for asphalt impregnation, short fiber webs are laminated at least on one side of a glass fiber layer and a short fiber constituting the short fiber web is entangled with a glass fiber and short fibers are integrated as a whole by entangling short fibers with each other. An asphalt sheet is obtained by impregnating asphalt into a ground fabric for asphalt impregnation. The glass fiber layer is preferably glass paper.
