Title:
GROUND FAULT INTERRUPTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3962340
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable ground fault interrupter which is small and low-cost and requires no large-capacity resistor.
SOLUTION: A main electric path comprises an open/close contact piece 1 and a zero-phase current transformer 3. If a leakage current, equal to or above a set operation value flows the main electric path, a leakage detecting circuit 5 makes the output operate an electromagnet device 6 so that the open/close contact piece 1 is opened. A power supply circuit of the leakage detecting circuit 5 is provided with a full-wave rectifying element 9. The output side of it is provided with a constant current element 10, a test button 20, a test coil 22, and a switch 23, which is interlocked with a switch 13 of a set operation current value in series. A resistance element 24 is connected in parallel to a series circuit of the test coil 22 and the switch 23.
