To provide a ground improving method for improving the bearing power of a ground by constructing an improved continuous wall in the ground and means used therein for constructing the improved continuous wall having stable quality by sufficiently mixing sediment in the ground and solidifying material slurry.
The ground improving method utilizing ultrasonic waves for constructing the improved continuous wall in the ground to improve the bearing power of the ground by excavating the ground into a wall shape where a foundation is to be provided and mixing the sediment in the ground and the solidifying material slurry comprises a dry excavation step S1 of excavating the ground in a range where the improved continuous wall is to be constructed, an improved soil producing step S2 for producing an improved soil by mixing the sediment in the excavated ground and the solidifying material slurry while giving vibration with ultrasonic waves, and a curing step S3 for solidifying the improved soil being left for a predetermined period.
