To provide an easy-to-use ground investigation apparatus which enables the sampling of a core (soil sample) with no variation from soft ground to hard ground, in addition to the performance of a cone penetration test and drilling logging (MWD logging) using a drill for drilling a hole.
This ground investigation apparatus with a cone penetration machine and a ground drilling machine includes: an outer pipe; an inner pipe, the lower end of which is connected to a core tube for collecting the ground sample and the upper end of which is extended to a ground side and inserted into the outer pipe; and a drill head for sampling the core, which has a rotary mechanism for rotating the upper portion of the outer pipe by gripping it and a grip mechanism for unrotatably holding the upper portion of the inner pipe by gripping it, and which is attached in such a manner as to be switchable from a drill head for the drilling of the ground drilling machine, to a slide table moving upward and downward along a columnar guide erected on a lower frame.
