Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain ground mapping radar equipment which can obtain accurate pictures by correcting offsets even when the offsets occur in video signals outputted from a driven receiver due to heat or secular changes.
CONSTITUTION: A selector 12 outputs video signals of an area where reflected waves from the ground do not exist and a sliding window having a window width of '4' is constituted of registers 16, a subtracter 13, subtracter register 14, adder 15, adder register 19, and shift register 17 so as to find the mean value of continuous four data of Ich- and Qch-components. An off-setting device 18 performs offset correction on video signals from a driven receiver 2 based on the above-mentioned mean value.
