Abstract:
To provide a ground radio device capable of effectively preventing reduction in operation rate of a whole security system for railway control including the train operation and a method of controlling the same.SOLUTION: The ground radio device includes a power receiving unit for receiving power from the outside and outputting the received power and a transmission unit that is operated by power output from the power receiving unit to transmit control information to a pickup coil by radio. The transmission unit transmits power information about at least one of a count result of a cumulative time exceeding a first threshold voltage in which the power output from the power receiving unit is set in advance and a detection result with respect to overvoltage of the power supplied to the transmission unit from the power receiving unit to the pickup coil in addition to the control information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
