The ground soundness evaluation device 1 comprises a microtremor measuring means 10 for measuring microtremors in X-Y directions which are horizontal directions of the ground, and in a Z direction which is a vertical direction; a data input means 31 for inputting X-Y-Z direction microtremor measured data measured by the microtremor measuring means 10; a storage means 32 for storing the inputted microtremor measured data; an arithmetic means 33 for computing the predominant period of the ground from the microtremor measured data stored in the storage means 32 and computing soundness data of the ground from the predetermined relation between the predominant period of the ground and the soundness of the ground; and an output means 34 for outputting the soundness data of the ground computed by the arithmetic means 33.
