Abstract:
To provide means for reducing the processing load in estimating the ground structure.SOLUTION: An oscillation tool 13 causes oscillations in turn at oscillation points X1, X2,...and Xn of the ground surface G, the surface wave of oscillation is received by a plurality of geophones 11 arranged at different positions in the horizontal direction of the ground surface G, and based on the received surface wave, a ground structure estimation device 15 estimates a S wave velocity structure in a region C of the ground. An oscillation tool 14 causes oscillations in turn at oscillation points Y1, Y2,...and Ym in the ground, the P wave of oscillation is received by a plurality of geophones 12 arranged at different positions in the vertical direction in the ground, and based on the received P wave, the ground structure estimation device 15 estimates a P wave velocity structure in a ground region D. In an estimation of the P wave velocity structure, the ground structure estimation device 15 uses an estimated value of the P wave velocity obtained by converting the S wave velocity indicated by the estimated S wave velocity structure as an initial parameter of the P wave velocity of each of the plurality of cells obtained by dividing the region C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
