Abstract:
To provide a method for ground treatment of inorganic board having excellent coating performances and productivity.
An inorganic board 10 having an upper layer and a lower layer 11 and 12 consisting essentially of a mineral substance fiber, an inorganic powdery body and a binder is coated with a ground treating material composed of 50-80 wt.% of a pigment and 20-50 wt.% of a synthetic resin and having 40,000-70,000 cps viscosity to form a ground treated layer 14. The ground treated layer is dried and cured and subjected to sanding treatment to form a smooth surface.
