To provide a grounding position information transmitting device capable of transmitting information on the correct grounding position of a sunken object, and to provide a grounding position detection system using the same.
A grounding position information transmitting device includes: a separating means which is mounted on a prescribed object to separate the grounding position information transmitting device from the object; a grounding determination unit 101 for determining whether or not the object is grounded; a separation control unit 102 which controls the separating means so as to separate the grounding position information transmitting device from the object when the grounding determination unit 101 determines that the object is grounded; a surfacing means for floating up toward the water surface after being separated by the separating means; a position information generation unit 103 for generating the position information, a grounding position estimation unit 104 for estimating the grounding position of the object by using the position information generated by the position information generation unit 103; and a transmission unit 130 for transmitting the information on the grounding position estimated by the grounding position estimation unit 104.
