To provide a grounding wire protector that is easy to install and that facilitates protection of a grounding wire near the ground level portion of an electric pole.
The grounding wire protector 1 protects a synthetic resin pipe 3 and a connection wire of the inside, which connect a device, installed at the upper portion of the electric pole 2 to a grounding electrode buried under the ground below the electric pole 2, and a synthetic resin pipe 3, into which the connection wire is inserted for its protection and which is mounted and fixed to the electric pole 2 with stainless steel bands 4 near the ground level of the electric pole 2. The protector 1 is made of a stainless steel plate, and a bent portion 1a is formed at the center line in its longitudinal direction so that the portion to be buried under the ground is formed in a tapered shape. The protector 1 is fixed temporarily, by embedding its lower portion, before it is fixed with the stainless steel bands 4, in its mounting work.
