To provide a breeding member 2 for algae, having a growing environment that has been made to match the growing and development stage of algae BO.
The breeding member 2 for the algae is obtained, equipped with a breeding member 2 for the algae being provided with each body 21 of the breeding member for the algae for growing the algae BO and each spacer member 22 having a rooting part 221, rooting the algae BO growing on the body 21 of the breeding member for the algae, in such a state as to be separated from the body 21 of the breeding member for the algae; the body 21 of the breeding member for the algae is attached to the spacer member 22; and furthermore, the spacer member 22 is interposed in between the body 21 of the breeding member for the algae and a breeding block 1 of rocky shore resources for holding the body 21 of the breeding member for the algae at the sea bottom.
