Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the need of the accurate adjustment of an anode side short-circuit area to a cathode emitter area. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor base body is provided with the plural cathode emitter areas 3 in the shape of a first geometrical pattern and at least one anode emitter area 21-25, the short-circuit areas 31-34 in the shape of a second geometrical pattern different from the first geometrical pattern are provided inside the anode emitter area and at least a part of the short-circuit areas is made to face the respective cathode emitter areas.
