To provide a guard fence and method of repairing the same, eliminating the need of separately working a support in attaching a fence panel to the guard fence to which a fence beam is attached.

The fence beam M is fitted to one side wall of the support 1, and upper and lower crossbars 31 and a fence panel 3 to which a plurality of vertical bars 32 between the crossbars 31 are mounted is constructed between the supports 1 through metal fittings 4 attached to the supports 1. The upper part of the support 1 is provided with a flange part 26 protruded sideways, the metal fitting 4 attached to the support 1 forms an engagement part 41 engaged with the flange part 26, the tip thereof is provided with a support part 42 supporting the vertical bar 32 located at the outermost end of the fence panel 3, so that in constructing the fence panel 3 on the support 1, construction can be performed without separately working the support 1, and the metal fitting 4 is positioned by the flange part 26, so that the construction efficiency can be remarkably improved.
